Terms & Conditions

This website (“Website”) is owned and operated by WOW Recruitment Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17344570, with its registered office at 5th Floor, 167-169 Great Portland Street, London W1W 5PF, United Kingdom (collectively “WOW Recruitment”, “WOW”, “we,” “us,” or “our” in these terms).

By accessing and using the Website you accept the following terms and conditions (“Terms”) and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Website.

We may modify these Terms from time to time and recommend you refer to them each time you use the Website. Your continued access or use of the Website after an updated version of the Terms has been published means you accept the Terms as changed.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of the Website. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These Terms govern only your use of the Website and are to be read together with our Standard Terms of Business, which apply to the legal relationship between us and our clients in relation to specific services and materials we provide, and our Privacy Policy.

We will endeavour, where possible, to make the Website available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but do not guarantee this. Access may be interrupted from time to time. For example, for maintenance and updates, or due to outages or other technical causes.

Intellectual property

The Website and all materials displayed on it – including all content, text, graphics, advertisements, names, logos and trademarks (whether registered or not) (collectively, “WOW Recruitment Content”) – are our property or the property of their respective owners, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws in the United Kingdom and elsewhere. WOW Recruitment Content and the Website may change or be discontinued at any time, including by imposing limits on certain features or restricting access to parts of the Website or WOW Recruitment Content.

While we endeavour to keep the Website and WOW Recruitment Content up to date, they are provided on an “as is” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, adequacy, completeness or currency of WOW Recruitment Content, including information about job vacancies and their description, and we disclaim liability for any error, omission, or your use of or reliance on the Website and WOW Recruitment Content, save to the extent such liability cannot be excluded by law (see “Liability and indemnity” below).

Your use of the Website and WOW Recruitment Content

You may use the Website and WOW Recruitment Content for your personal use only, unless it is specifically provided for clients. No material from WOW Recruitment Content or the Website may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way, other than for reference purposes, and provided all copyright and other proprietary notices remain intact. Modifying the materials, or using them for any other purpose, without our prior written authorisation is a violation of our copyright and other proprietary rights.

Everything that appears on the Website – including text, structure, composition, graphic elements, layout, logos and software – other than third-party contributions, is protected by the intellectual property rights of WOW Recruitment, its suppliers or its partners.

No illegal use

You must not use the Website or any WOW Recruitment Content for any purpose that is illegal or prohibited by law. You agree to use the Website and WOW Recruitment Content for lawful purposes only, and not to post or transmit any information or material that infringes or violates the rights of others, or that is defamatory, threatening, invasive of privacy, obscene, harassing or otherwise objectionable.

Processing of personal data

Please read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. You are responsible for all personal data you provide through the Website, including any documents or forms you upload, complete or accept within the Website (“Your Information”). If you register with the Website (for example, for job alerts), you will be given, or asked to create, a username and password. You are solely responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and confidential, and must tell us immediately if you believe your password has been compromised or is being used without authorisation.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • providing Your Information for a job alert or otherwise is your own decision, made at your own risk, subject to our obligations at law; and
  • neither WOW Recruitment nor its clients are responsible for identifying, verifying, or seeking correction of, errors or omissions in Your Information.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • WOW Recruitment will act on Your Information as submitted through the Website;
  • there is no commitment from WOW Recruitment regarding any job vacancy, job description, or your success in a recruitment process;
  • the application process on the Website, and any related job vacancy, may be suspended or cancelled by WOW Recruitment or a client at any time, without notice;
  • WOW Recruitment uses reasonable efforts to keep job vacancies accurate, current and available, but cannot guarantee this, and disclaims liability in respect of a job description, its availability, or a client's choice of candidate;
  • by clicking to accept, or applying your signature to, any document provided to you through the Website (electronically, digitally or otherwise), you are confirming that you have read and understood its terms and that the document becomes binding on you; and
  • you are responsible for seeking your own independent advice on any terms or documents arising from your use of the Website or participation in a recruitment process.

Where you are acting as a consumer, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy you have under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
